High Heels

Let’s chat about my fascination with high heels, which is one thing that makes me love summer even more!

I have high heels in every shape, color, and height in my entire closet. However, my priceless sneakers haven’t seen the light of day for a long time because the last two summers have been so wet and chilly. I have therefore made sure that every single pair is worn this summer!

When I made my first diary entry, I was only three or four years old, and it said something like:How I waited for the day when I could walk around in high heels and clip-clop! I didn’t acquire my first pair of heels until I was about six years old.

However, Emma Thompson famously stated that “true love lasts a lifetime” in the greatest film ever made, Love Actually. Thus, I continue to be obsessed with gorgeous, but occasionally really painful, high-heeled shoes.

About the Addiction to High Heels and How to Locate the Ideal Pair

I frequently purchase heels on the spur of the moment, but I never store them in the closet. I look for situations and locations where I can wear all of my adorable shoes. Some of them hurt a lot and aren’t suitable for walking longer than 10 meters at a time before my toes start to bleed.

However, such shoes also have their place and time. I prefer the office since I can stroll there from the kitchen without going far. Additionally, there are comfy, occasion-appropriate striking platform high heels.

Then there are the ultimate shoes, which are not only incredibly elegant and timeless, but they are also so comfy that they can be worn all day without any problems. These shoes feature traditional black stilettos and nude sandalettes. Even though I already own the ideal pair of nude sandalettes, I can’t stop lusting after those Louboutin heels.

As is well known, some “feminists” argue that wearing high heels is a means of repressing women (really, no one is making me wear them!). However, the timeless high heel remains the best option for dress-up events. No one can dispute that!

Contrary to popular belief, wearing high heels doesn’t always result in sore feet and blisters. Here are my suggestions for selecting the ideal heels that will continue to keep you looking stylish for many years to come.

Choose the ideal time to go shopping.

I advise you to always save your shoe shopping until the end of the day. It may sound strange, but listen to me:

Your feet are exhausted and most likely a little more swollen than usual when you leave work. As a result, they are more sensitive and in the best position to identify the ideal shoe size and shape. You run a far greater chance of purchasing a pair of heels that are too small in the long term if you try them on right after breakfast.

While purchasing high-heeled shoes, keep in mind how crucial it is to accumulate an emergency fund. As you treat yourself to fashionable shoes, set aside some cash for financial stability. This plan gives you peace of mind regarding unforeseen costs and confidence in your stride.

Make a great leather purchase of high heels

For the time being, I would rather keep my pocketbook strings as tight as possible. However, I’ve learned that when I do want to spend money, I should choose high-quality products. I advise you to focus on leather when it comes to accessories, especially shoes.

Take a long stroll around.

In the store, take your time. To obtain a realistic feel of the shoes, spend as much time as possible walking about in your favorite pair. Set the shoes aside and try on another pair if they are even a little uncomfortable.

I’m a shoe addict, so trust me when I say that there’s never any use in purchasing shoes that you feel uncomfortable wearing at the store. When you have to wear them to an occasion, they will be considerably worse.

Examine the sensation of your toes.

This relates to the last suggestion as well, but I wanted to stress how crucial it is to accurately gauge the degree of comfort that is currently present in the store. With nearly 25 years of expertise, I can tell you that there is no use in spending money on shoes that make your toes or balls of your feet hurt. Those shoes won’t be worn by you.

Try on several heel heights and shapes to see which one suits you best (peep-toe, round-and-sharp-tipped stilettos, sandalettes, wedges vs. sharp heels, etc.). You might be surprised to learn that kitten heels aren’t always the ideal choice because many people find that the heel height causes them to hurt. On the other hand, a few centimeters extra in the heel is ideal.

At home, practice wearing High heels.

From an early age, I took this extremely seriously. I used to improve my posture by strutting back and forth in front of the large mirrors in the hallway after I acquired my first pair of heels. I have to confess that walking in heels is more difficult than walking in shoes; you have to be mindful of your posture to avoid seeming twat. Blisters and a painful back are guaranteed when you have poor posture and hooked knees.

I hope you all have a great shopping weekend, and remember that nothing looks more attractive than a self-assured lady wearing high heels.
